EXPRESS ARROW RULES & REGULATIONS POLICY

When using these internet tickets, you must travel on the exact dates purchased from the exact locations purchased. You must present an ID along with your electronic ticket in order to board the bus.

Please note: Children under 12 years of age are required to travel with an older passenger. Children who have not reached his or her second birthday will be carried free when not occupying a seat to the exclusion of another passenger.

TICKET LIMITATIONS & RESTRICTIONS

All Express Arrow internet tickets cannot be refunded at all. Express Arrow will not be responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather, or other conditions beyond the carriers’ control. Express Arrow will not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Tickets are non-transferable and, if presented for transportation by any person other then the one for whom originally purchased, will be void and may be confiscated by a Express Arrow agent or authorized employee of any bus carrier over which the ticket is issued. REFUND POLICY

  • Refundable ticket’s will be charged a 20% processing fee.
  • Refund requests on refundable tickets must be received at the corporate office within 90 days of purchase. You may use the ticket for travel up to one year from the purchase date. If travel date is changed it must be done within 30 days of purchase date.
  • Refund requests can only be made by the company who issued the ticket, regardless of which company was used for travel. If you purchased your ticket through a Jefferson Lines ticket agent or by telephone, you should contact us. If you purchased your ticket through a companion company, such as Greyhound Lines or Kerrville, you will need to contact them directly for a refund.
  • Tickets marked “No-Refund”, 7, 14, & 21 days advance purchase tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. You may reissue your ticket for a different travel date if done within 30 days from original date of purchase. (A change of itinerary fee may apply.)
    All refund requests for Prepaid Ticket Orders (PTO Tickets) must be made by the original purchaser. If the ticket has been printed, the refund request must include both the purchaser’s receipt and the original printed ticket.
  • Refunds will only be made from the original tickets. No copies will be accepted.
  • One-way partially used tickets are Non-Refundable.
  • On-line tickets are non-refundable however may be used as credit towards a future purchase for up to 30 days. A $20 cancellation fee will be assessed during the cancellation or reissue process and available credit will be applied to the current fare of the new purchase. GENERAL INFORMATION

Issuing carrier will be responsible only for transportation on its own lines, in accordance with tariff regulations and limitations and assumes no responsibility for any acts or omissions of others occurring within or outside of the United States, except as imposed by law with respect to baggage. Seating aboard vehicles operated in Interstate or foreign commerce is without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin. Special fares are limited for use as endorsed on ticket.

  • Fares quoted are valid on the Express Arrow schedule and/or those of participating interline carriers listed on the ticket. Fares are payable in U.S. dollars unless noted otherwise.
  • All tickets will be honored for transportation daily unless otherwise indicated. No reservations are accepted for travel.
  • All unrestricted one-way and round trip tickets are good for one year from date of sale, except as noted. There will be no extension of time limits.
  • Depending on the date and time you select, not all discount fares may be available on all schedules.
  • Fares subject to change. Fares may be higher during some holiday periods and additional restrictions may apply during various times of the year.
  • Fares quoted may be subject to additional charges, including taxes. The final fare will be displayed once a schedule is booked.
  • Senior citizen’s fares require proof of age.
  • Military discounts require a valid United States military ID, presented upon request at the terminal or stop.
  • Unused one-way and round trip walk-up fare tickets will have a refund value equal to the fare paid by the passenger, less a cancellation penalty, unless otherwise indicated on the ticket.
  • Departure date and time for both going and return trip may be changed for a change of itinerary fee per ticket, provided that holiday blackout restrictions are not violated. The one-year time limit of original ticket also must not be violated. All transportation must be completed within one year of the original purchase date. Origin or destination may NOT be changed in an exchange. Travel date changes must be done within 30 days from original date of purchase.
  • An advance purchase fare may be upgraded to a walk-up fare for a charge of an upgrade fee per transaction plus the difference between the advance purchase fare and the walk-up fare. If the walk-up fare is less than the advance purchase fare, no refund will be given. The origin and/or destination may NOT be changed in an upgrade.
  • Advance purchase discount fares are non-refundable.
  • Online tickets are non-refundable.

  • Express Arrow reserves the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or whose conduct is such likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers. Such persons may be removed from the bus or terminal by the driver or terminal personnel. In event of such removal, the liability of the carrier shall not exceed the amount of the fare paid by the passenger.
  • While we, and the carriers we connect with, make every effort to operate our schedules as close as possible to the schedule times posted, there may be circumstances beyond our control where we are unable to do so.  Such as, but not limited to: mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions, etc.  We will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the passengers due to any reasons which are beyond our control.

IDENTIFICATION OF BAGGAGE

Government Regulation and Carrier’s Tariffs require that all baggage must be properly identified. Luggage Tags should clearly show the name and address to which lost baggage should be forwarded. Free luggage tags are available at all ticket windows and baggage counters. Place your name and address inside and outside of your luggage. Please reclaim your baggage promptly upon arrival. If you do not claim your baggage promptly, an arrival storage charge will be assessed.

INTERSTATE BAGGAGE LIABILITY

Liability for loss or damage to checked baggage is limited to actual value not to exceed $250 for all baggage checked on one adult ticket or $125 on one half fare ticket unless greater value is declared at time of checking at which time charges for excess value will be collected and receipt issued. Declared value cannot exceed $1000 per passenger. You may purchase excess value protection at the ticket counter but note that it does not cover valuable articles and certain other articles, which are not accepted as baggage. Ask an agent for information concerning restricted articles and limits on the value of baggage checked intrastate.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN

Any passenger under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older at all times. Passengers between the ages of 12 and 16 years of age inclusive, may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare if the following conditions are met in their entirety:

If any of the above conditions are not met, then the passenger must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older in order to travel.

  1. The passenger’s trip will begin and end on the same schedule (no transfers).
  2. The passenger’s trip will be no longer than five (5) hours in duration.
  3. The passenger’s trip (origin to destination) must take place during daylight hours only.
  4. Both the origin and destination stations are full service agencies or company operated facilities.
  5. The destination station will be open at the time the passenger is scheduled to arrive.
  6. Parent, Guardian or Legal Custodian of the child must complete and sign the Unaccompanied Child Form authorizing the child to make the trip and return this to the Customer Service Supervisor on duty. This form specifically names the person authorizing the trip and the person meeting the child at the destination station and the telephone number(s) at which this person may be contacted. It also provides an emergency contact name and telephone number in the event it is needed.
  7. In order for the child to be released at the destination, the person named on the Unaccompanied Child Form as the one meeting the child must have positive picture identification, such as a driver’s license or state issued identification card, and provide such to the agent at the destination station. Without such identification, the child will be released into the custody of Child Protective Services or to local law enforcement officials in the destination city.
  8. A fee of $15 will be assessed for each child traveling unaccompanied.

If any of the above conditions are not met, then the passenger must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older in order to travel.

Tickets for unaccompanied children are not sold online.
