Terms & Conditions


When using these internet tickets, you must travel on the exact dates purchased from the exact locations purchased. You must present an ID along with your electronic ticket in order to board the bus.  No other documents related to your purchase will be accepted for transportation.   If you are purchasing for another person departing from another city, you must purchase a Pre-Paid Ticket Order through one of ticket offices.

Please note: Children under 17 years of age are required to travel with an older passenger.  One child (per adult fare paid) who has not reached his or her second birthday will be carried free when not occupying a seat to the exclusion of another passenger.  With each adult fare purchased, two (2) children between the ages of 2-16 are eligible for child fare.


All Express Arrow online ticket purchses are non-refundable (unless otherwise specified).  You must specify your travel dates on both the one way and round trip portions of your trip.

Express Arrow will not be responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather, or other conditions beyond the carriers’ control. It  is our goal to maintain an on time schedule, but we cannot guarantee an on time schedule.  Express Arrow is not  responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Tickets are non-transferable and, if presented for transportation by any person other than the one for whom originally purchased, will be void and may be confiscated by a Express Arrow agent or authorized employee of any bus carrier over which the ticket is issued.   • Refundable ticket’s will be charged a 20% processing fee.  Express Arrow can only process refunds for tickets that are printed Express Arrow at the top of the actual ticket.
  • Refund requests on refundable tickets must be received at the corporate office addressed to:  Express Arrow Refund Department, 720 E Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, NE 68701 within 90 days of purchase. You may change the date of travel on your ticket  (only the date of travel – origin/destination CANNOT be changed) for a fee but it  must be done within 30 days of purchase date of original ticket.
  • Refund requests can only be processed by the company who is printed at the top of your actual ticket. Tickets marked “No-Refund”, 7, 14, & 21 days advance purchase tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. You may reissue your ticket for a different travel date if done within 30 days from original date of purchase but all restrictions regarding advance tickets remain. (A change of itinerary fee may apply.)
    All refund requests for Prepaid Ticket Orders (PTO Tickets) must be made by the original purchaser. If the ticket has been printed, the refund request must include both the purchaser’s receipt and the original printed ticket(s).
  • Refunds will only be made from the original tickets. No copies will be accepted.
  • One-way partially used tickets are Non-Refundable.


We ask passengers to arrive at open terminals 30 minutes prior to departure.  Express Arrow will not be responsible for the inconsistencies of various timepieces.  If you are departing from a closed terminal or unmanned station we ask you to have proper accommodations until the bus arrives.  Express Arrow will be responsible only for transportation on its own lines, in accordance with tariff regulations and limitations and assumes no responsibility for any acts or omissions of other carriers, occurring within or outside of the United States, except as imposed by law with respect to baggage. Seating aboard vehicles operated in Interstate or foreign commerce is without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin. Fares quoted are valid on the Express Arrow schedule and/or those of participating interline carriers listed on the ticket. Fares are payable in U.S. dollars unless noted otherwise.

  • All tickets will be honored for transportation daily unless otherwise indicated. No reservations are accepted for travel.
  • All unrestricted one-way and round trip tickets are date specific.
  • Depending on the date and time you select, not all discount fares may be available on all schedules.
  • Fares subject to change. Fares may be higher during some holiday periods and additional restrictions may apply during various times of the year.
  • Fares quoted may be subject to additional charges, including taxes. The final fare will be displayed once a schedule is booked.
  • Senior citizen’s fares require proof of age.
  • Military discounts require a valid United States military ID, presented upon request at the terminal or stop.
  • Refundable  unused one-way and round trip tickets will have a refund value equal to the fare paid by the passenger, less a cancellation penalty and fees, unless otherwise indicated on the ticket.
  • Departure date and time for both going and return trip may be changed for a change of itinerary fee per ticket, provided that holiday blackout restrictions are not violated. Origin or destination may NOT be changed in an exchange. Travel date changes must be done within 30 days from original date of purchase.
  • An advance purchase fare may be upgraded to a walk-up fare for a charge of an upgrade fee per transaction plus the difference between the advance purchase fare and the walk-up fare. If the walk-up fare is less than the advance purchase fare, no refund will be given. The origin and/or destination may NOT be changed in an upgrade.
  • Express Arrow will not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets.  Tickets cannot be reprinted.
  • Express Arrow reserves the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or whose conduct is such likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers. Such persons may be removed from the bus or terminal by the driver or terminal personnel. In event of such removal, the liability of the carrier shall not exceed the amount of the fare paid by the passenger.
  • While we, and the carriers we connect with, make every effort to operate our schedules as close as possible to the schedule times posted, there may be circumstances beyond our control where we are unable to do so.  Such as, but not limited to: mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions, etc.  We will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the passengers due to any reasons which are beyond our control.


Exress Arrow reserves the right to inspect any and all carry on or checked baggage/personal effects.  Government Regulation and Carrier’s Tariffs require that all baggage must be properly identified. Luggage Tags should clearly show the name and address to which lost baggage should be forwarded. Free luggage tags are available at all ticket windows and baggage counters. Place your name, mailing address, current email address and current phone number inside and outside of your luggage. Please reclaim your baggage promptly upon arrival. If you do not claim your baggage promptly, an arrival storage charge may be assessed.

Passengers holding adult fare tickets are allowed 1 pieces of baggage checked under the bus (Not to exceed 50 pounds) for no additional charge.  Passengers with child fare tickets are allowed 1 piece of baggage checked (Not to exceed 50 pounds).  All passengers are allowed to check additional baggage under the bus for an additional charge above the free allowance.


Express Arrow disclaims liability for any lost or damaged baggage. Passengers are responsible for their baggage at all times, including transferring bags between buses. All passengers are responsible for taking their baggage to the bus side of their departing schedule for loading and are also responsible for collecting their checked bags at transfer points or final destination. All passengers must agree to all terms and conditions stated above for all checked baggage. All passengers can purchase additional insurance for checked baggage at the ticket counter at which point the luggage will be shipped as freight and not checked baggage and will be subject to the appropriate fees for express shipping and subject to all rules and regulations regarding freight. Please check with your local depot or agent for rules and regulations regarding freight. Always keep your medicine with you at all times and do not put it in your checked baggage stored in the baggage compartment under the bus.  Express Arrow is not responsible for lost medicine, cash, electronics (any type) or other restricted/prohibited items.  Ask an agent for more information concerning restricted articles and limits on the value of baggage checked intrastate.

Plastic bags will not be accepted as checked baggage, and only small plastic bags can be carried on the bus.


Any passenger under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older at all times. Passengers between the ages of 12 and 16 years of age inclusive, may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare if the following conditions are met in their entirety:

If any of the above conditions are not met, then the passenger must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older in order to travel.

  1. The passenger’s trip will begin and end on the same schedule (no transfers).
  2. The passenger can travel unaccompanied for a duration of 8 hours from 7am to 8pm.
  3. The passenger’s trip (origin to destination) must take place during daylight hours only.
  4. Both the origin and destination stations are full service agencies or company operated facilities.
  5. The destination station will be open at the time the passenger is scheduled to arrive.
  6. Parent, Guardian or Legal Custodian of the child must complete and sign the Unaccompanied Child Form authorizing the child to make the trip and return this to the Customer Service Supervisor on duty. This form specifically names the person authorizing the trip and the person meeting the child at the destination station and the telephone number(s) at which this person may be contacted. It also provides an emergency contact name and telephone number in the event it is needed.
  7. In order for the child to be released at the destination, the person named on the Unaccompanied Child Form as the one meeting the child must have positive picture identification, such as a driver’s license or state issued identification card, and provide such to the agent at the destination station. Without such identification, the child will be released into the custody of Child Protective Services or to local law enforcement officials in the destination city.
  8. A fee of $15 will be assessed (per one way) for each child traveling unaccompanied.

If any of the above conditions are not met, then the passenger must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years of age or older in order to travel.

Tickets for unaccompanied children are not sold online.
